Red Burgundy

This has a lovely deep centre of raspberry, cherry and damson fruit chased up by a brisk crispness that makes it incredibly refreshing. One that would be delicious with a pot-roast partridge, baked aubergine or grouse.

Brightly expressive, nice sappy fruit. Taut and bright from the rock under this steep vineyard. Crunchy - Gilles calls it 'tensile'.

Brightly elegant, a superfine and delicately scented Pinot.

A new cuvée from Virgile for the 2021 vintage, this is a pure Pinot Noir, and he's made in in an intentionally 'glou-glou' style. Good colour, fresh fruity nose, sappy palate, a delight.

Again the bight fruit, ripe but still floral on the nose, good weight of silky body on the palate. Very attractively pure and straight.
