Chablis

As always a wonderfully classic, yet engaging Chablis from Boudin. Aromas of oyster shell and Iodine, backed by rich citrus fruit, delicious weight and intensity, so good with smoked salmon or trout.

This smells leaner and more herbal than the Butteaux. A nice touch of smoky reduction. So beautifully rounded and creamy on the palate. Deep and leesy on the finish. GV

Restraint here on the nose – the power of the old vines and intensity of the fruit felt more here than the warmth of the sun. This 2022 Les Pargues has lovely weight to it and firm drive – delicious.
