From the north side of the village. The amplitude of a deep clay soil, which retained water well in this dry vintage. Solidly-built, it has the freshness of the vintage giving good drive.

Broad flavours. Quite dry. There's good depth of dark berry fruit here but for now it is firm and needs a little time to soften up.

Riper yet than the Champs Perdrix, there's depth and harmony to the nose, and the palate is rich and full with fine tannins and excellent volume and length.
