Côte de Beaune

A late-ripening terroir which was picked last. Nicely fat, with a lightly phenolic finish, it's pure and long.

20-30% Pinot Blanc in the vineyard. Long fermentation, so still half-made when we tasted. Good volume and body, it's something a little different, but very likeable. Not very deep soils - it's on pebbles.

100% frosted in 2021 - always early ripening and budding so it got hit! Great to have it back in 2022. Pretty nose with blossom and citrus notes. Palate has some good crisp apple edged fruit and gentle, warm lemon note....(read more)

Nearly ready for bottling when we saw it, an immediate expressive white fruit nose, supple palate with that citrus juice enlivening it.

8 different vineyards make up the blend, good combination of the mix of a variety of terroirs and exposures.

First plot below Enseignères. More clay, so arguably not your typical Puligny, says Adrien.
