2007 MONTETI Tenuta Monteti

Potentially the best vintage of Monteti that I have tasted. 55% Petit Verdot, 25% Cabernet Franc and 20% Cabernet Sauvigon, aged eighteen months in French oak barrels, of which 70% are new. The oak is beautifully integrated with the very fine sweet fruit and rounded tannins. This is very smart indeed. L&S
