Last year the City Fine Wine Challenge raised over £200,000 for the NSPCC. In the last year charities have had little opportunity to raise funds through events, but the NSPCC has seen demand rise, particularly through Childline, and it needs your help more than ever.
Even if you decide not to take part what we hope will be a fun early evening on the 18th March, please consider making a donation.
City Fine Wine At Home 2021 hopes to raise enough money for “One Unforgettable Day”, funding Childline for 24 hours.
Three high quality bottles from Lea & Sandeman, selected by Matthew Jukes will be delivered to each participating household, and guests will enjoy an exclusive tasting experience expertly hosted by Matthew.
“I have relished the rare opportunity to raid Charles Lea’s reserves for this annual NSPCC event, and have chosen three of my favourite wines from tremendous estates in France, Italy and Australia.
I cannot wait to taste this sensational trio with guests and I hope that all of the tickets sell out in record speed given the gravitas of the wines, the unique format and the urgent need to raise funds for this worthy cause”
Matthew Jukes, Wine Writer
You can then choose either to take part in an informal wine quiz and test your knowledge, or simply sit back and enjoy tasting the fine wines. L&S wine experts will be on hand to answer any questions you many have. This virtual event is the perfect way to spend an evening whilst helping to raise vital funds for the NSPCC and Childline.
There are a limited number of tickets available for this event so book yours today! Corporate packages are available if you would like to have a ‘virtual table’ of your guests.
Silent Auction in aid of the NSPCC
It’s sadly too late to join Matthew Jukes for the L&S-sponsored City Fine Wine at Home in aid of the NSPCC, but what you can still do to help us support the NSPCC is to bid for items in the associated silent auction. Bid generously and good luck!
