Out this afternoon is the hugely impressive CHÂTEAU LARCIS DUCASSE (£480). Antonio Galloni declared it 'One of the stars of the vintage - 94-97 points' and we loved it. For those who missed out on the (very) popular Château Canon, this wine from Nicolas Thienpont is one to consider.

This week sees the release of Château Clarke, (£115 per six) a Listrac-Médoc which belongs to the Baron Edmond de Rothschild, who also has a share of Lafite, and which has had a lot of investment since they bought it in 1971.

This Saturday, we will be trying a selection from the Nyetimber range, with Nyetimber's own Stephan Griffiths leading the tasting.
