A micro-cuvée made by Pierre Taïx, one of the three parcels that make this extraordinary wine consists of eighty year old vines planted by his grandfather. A true garagiste wine made in a modern, opulent style.

We’ve just 2 cases left of this lovely wine from one of the top wine producers of the Côte de Beaune. If you are perhaps new to Burgundy wines this is a great opportunity to taste fine, if not overly complex red Burgundy for a reasonable price. For seasoned Burgundy fans you must also take a look at the Domaine’s full wine list (see below).

Supple, but with generous red fruit defined by silky tannins, this elegant claret would be ideal with a piece of roast top-side beef, possibly lamb, or just to drink on its own. Excellent value.
