Château Perron is located near the church in the village of Lalande-de-Pomerol. It has been the home of the Massonie family since 1958, although the château dates back to 1642. Michel Massonie, father of Bertrand who runs the estate today, was a well-known figure in the region and was instrumental in founding Lalande-de-Pomerol's wine brotherhood.
