Apples, pears, lemon and a touch of peach. Nice ripeness and roundness, good rich texture with peppy acidity. 50% went through oak. Quintessential Bourgogne Blanc.

Nice gentle, welcoming nose. Good fruit. Rich and spicy on the palate, good freshness and drive.

Sleek and quite voluptuous with that old vine richness, ripe and round and juicy.

Very purple, with a smokier nose. Good pert fruit on the palate, with a lovely smoky, savoury backbone. Firm but gentle tannins. Lovely.

4 parcels, two of which (Ronceret and Brouillard) are premiers crus. So silky - juicy fruit, red and blue, a cool fresh expression.

Bright and fresh to look at with a blue edge, and it hits the palate fresh with very fine tannins that just give a sense of volume more than any roughness. Sleek and elegant.

Very Beaune, with nothing to excess, but a beautiful balance of all the elements, fresh and full.

Tasted when racked but not yet bottled. Not as dark or rich as the Pommard Tavannes but yet again this is a big wine with plenty of red & black fruits. Sweet spice. Lots of tannic structure. Ripe, rich but well balanced.

Restrained nose. Velvety, silky texture from the clay in this vineyard. Dark fruit flavour. Harmonious, juicy, easy to like.
