Bright nose, with a little point of reduction. Firm and tautly mineral. Very fresh.

Lovely ripe nose of pears and ripe lemons, gently spicy. Great acidity and freshness, lovely weight to the fruit. Not too heady, just perfectly ripe. Yummy. Nice salty edge that comes through on the fruit.

Riper, broader Chassagne nose. From 3 parcels. Richer and delicious, on chalk. Fuller fruit but with excellent length, finesse and freshness. White peaches and flowers. Very satisfying.

Pure nose – very enticing. Greengages and a greener profile of fruit, compared to the yellow fruit on the Chassagne. Touch of spice, grapefruit pith, wet stones. Great structure and beautifully balanced. Very attractive.
