36 barrels instead of the normal 60, from about 4.5 hectares. All destemmed. Really delightful pinoté fruit, all tautly constructed, sweet-fruited and floral - bien fait.

20-30% Pinot Blanc in the vineyard. Long fermentation, so still half-made when we tasted. Good volume and body, it's something a little different, but very likeable. Not very deep soils - it's on pebbles.

Part of Beaux Bruns is Premier Cru, so this is close - on clay, a richer palate than Thibault's 'Vieilles Vignes' cuvée.
