Wonderfully exotic and quite rich yet with a brightness of acidity that carries it through the palate and gives great finish. This is a fabulous wine for drinking with oriental or asiatic spicy foods, or, indeed, on its own as a very smart reception wine. L&S (Mar 2013)

The 2010 Friulano bursts from the glass with succulent peaches, tangerine, apricots and light floral honey. This is a decidedly extroverted Friulano that at times tilts towards the tropical, but all of the elements are in balance. Mario Schiopetto is recognised as the true father of Friulan oenology, transforming the wines of the region from the once traditionally heavy and alcoholic to the better known fresh and aromatic wines produced today.
