Sleekly elegant Blanc de Blancs from Dorset. 100% Chardonnay. Aged on its lees for 18 months before disgorging. Toasted bread, spice and honey on the nose give way to a crisp green apple palate backed with hints of richness. Very refreshing but quite thought provoking. L&S (Sept 2019)

Quite surprisingly deep golden colour. Fairly exuberant nose, expressive pear and quince with a nice nutty twang. Very racy palate and good subtle autolytic notes, cashew fruit (a Brazilian fruit!) and a pure precise and clean finish. Certainly for those who like a super-fresh style.
