From the highest hill in Fronsac, Les Trois Croix is medium bodied but relatively plump with pure blue-black fruit and a crunchy lively texture. Drinking range: 2022 - 2028 Rating: 89-90 L&S (Apr 2017)

The 2016 Les Trois Croix from proprietor Bertrand Léon has a gorgeous and very pure bouquet with black cherry and cassis fruit, well defined with light marine influence. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp acidity, moderate complexity with a gentle grip on the finish. I would just like a little more personality to show through by the time of bottling.
