In 1994 the Gras family bought the "Clos Derrière Vieille" (behind the old town) parcel. It was in a state of total abandonment, but after months of gruelling work, they managed to bring this Monopole back to life. The wines from this land show an incredible freshness and elegance due to perfect trilogy of the plot’s north-west exposure, its 350-metre elevation and the limestone soil the vines are planted on.
