Equal parts fermented in tank, amphora and barrel. Smells richer and riper than the Castello di Titignano Orvieto 2021 just tasted. Almonds, citrus, lots of fresh tension. An attractive friction on the finish – perhaps a little bit of skin contact – that adds to the length and freshness. With the family estate of Tenuta San Guido, home of famous reds like Sassicaia - just down the road - Giovanni and Tara are here concentrating on whites.
