68% Merlot, 21% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Petit Verdot. Good deep colour, quite fleshy and supple feel, fine tannins and fruit depth - well done, very harmonious. One of the Bruno Borie (Ducru-Beaucaillou) stable, this sports a metallic red label that is almost more bling than the Jade Jagger one for Croix de Beaucaillou. Drinking range: 2022 - 2035 Rating: 90-91 L&S (Apr 2017)

*Case price discount: Mix any 12 bottles of wine (or 9 litre equivalent) or 6 bottles of Champagne, Spirits, Sweet Wine or Fortified (4.5 litres) to get the discounted 'case price' for each bottle.

My money is on the 2016 Château Fourcas-Borie being the wine of the vintage in Listrac, It’s rare to find a Listrac with this level of depth and richness. Smoking notes of blackcurrants, black cherries, and graphite all emerge from this medium-bodied effort that has terrific mid-palate concentration, ripe tannins, and a brilliant finish. Want to taste the best from Listrac? Buy this wine. Drinking range: 2019 - 2031 Rating: 92 Jeb Dunnuck, www.jebdunnuck.com (Feb 2019)

The 2016 Fourcas-Borie is rich, ample and inviting. Black cherry, raspberry jam, spice, licorice and dried flowers flesh out in this creamy, voluptuous Listrac. Tasted next to Ducluzeau, Bruno Borie's other Listrac, Fourcas-Borie is darker, more overt and richer wine. Drinking range: 2020 - 2028 Rating: 91 Antonio Galloni, www.vinous.com (Jan 2019)

The 2016 Fourcas-Borie has a more floral bouquet than its stablemate Ducluzeau, presenting a mixture of red and black fruit tinged with peony and incense. The palate is underpinned by fine tannin and a beautiful bead of acidity. This feels linear and quite grippy in the mouth, and the graphite-tinged finish lingers nicely. Superb. Drinking range: 2023 - 2042 Rating: 92 Neal Martin, www.vinous.com (Jan 2019)
