Mathieu admitted that they went on holiday for a few days and this got taken apart by oidium, so a tiny yield, but what they have made is lovely, generous nose, fat on the palate, lots of character. Drinking range: 2023 - 2027 L&S (Oct 2022)

A cooler and fresher nose freely reveals its aromas of green apple, citrus, white flower and an equally discreet hint of wood influence. There is a slightly sleeker mouthfeel to the utterly delicious and finer if not denser middleweight flavors that offer good if not special length on the slightly lean and firmer finale. Drinking range: 2026 - Rating: 86-88 Allen Meadows, www.Burghound.com (Jun 2023)

The crop consists of one new and one older 350 litre barrel, plus one older 228 cask. Enough for about 1200 bottles of wine in all. Another pretty colour with a green tint. The fruit takes up more of the running here and the barrel less, though adding a tannin or two at the finish. Good acidity, a lovely Bourgogne Blanc which will keep for a little Drinking range: 2024 - 2026 Rating: 87-89 Jasper Morris - Inside Burgundy  (Oct 2022)

Domaine Thomas-Collardot

Jacqueline Collardot and her son Matthieu own and run this exciting 'micro-domaine' in the heart of Puligny-Montrachet. Matthieu completed his studies in 2019 and joined Jacqueline permanently, just in time for the harvest. Now they are working together we look forward to a slightly bigger production - as while she worked alone she was limited to what she could achieve all on her own, with excess grapes being sold on.

At only 2.5ha, this is an artisan project, allowing them to give unrivalled time and care to every parcel she has. Jacqueline inherited these vineyards from her father’s Domaine Thomas Pierre in 2010 after he retired and is slowly raising the profile with her incredible care and attention. Although there may not be much quantity - the quality is impeccable. These are classically shaped, bright wines that express their various Puligny terroirs perfectly.

From 2020 the domaine is now organically certified.
