BOURGOGNE ROUGE 'LES DEUX TERRES'

Thibault Liger-Belair has produced a superb cuvée from the “Bourgogne Gamay” appellation, where the finesse of Pinot Noir harmoniously blends with the indulgence of Gamay. This blend, aptly named “Les Deux Terres,”(The two lands) reflects the meeting of Beaujolais and Burgundy, with Gamay making up at least 85% of the wine. This grape variety, known for its liveliness, reveals a unique expression in this context—more complex and structured while retaining its characteristic freshness.
On the nose, the wine shows delightful aromas of black cherries, blackberries, and raspberries, delicately enhanced by floral and spicy notes. On the palate, the attack is direct, precise, and generous, offering a lovely roundness that pleasantly envelops the mouth. The tannins, silky and well-integrated, provide an elegant structure to this fresh and vibrant wine, whose moderately persistent finish leaves a delightful impression of lightness.
