2022 is a fabulous vintage in this part of the world, and as ever the stalwart Cave des Grands Crus Blancs has produced a perfectly pitched Mâcon Vinzelles. Nice clean lines with a present mineral underbelly is neatly balanced by well-weighted fruit. Pear and firm peach are kept nicely lifted by enough acidity to keep this very drinkable. Impressive weight and intent for a White Burgundy at this price-level. L&S (Oct 2024)
