AMARETTO SALIZA

Amaretto Tosolino

Origin United Kingdom, Apéritifs, Bitters & Liqueurs
ABV 28%

A traditional Italian Amaretto made from crushed almonds, with intense yet elegant marzipan flavours. The name comes from a Venetian legend. Salizada refers to one of the first paved streets in Venice, where you can still find a red stone in the shape of a heart. When lovers touch it they will love each other forever. L&S (Sept 2016)

Amaretto Tosolino

Bepe Tosolino's Amaretto is a real step up from the norm. Made by re-distilling spirit with crushed almonds (rather than the kernel concentrate used in more commercial brands) to recipe only known to the distillers themselves. Bepe Tosolino started his business in Friuli in the years after World War II and his children and grandchildren continue his work to this day.
