Dry Whites
It was a difficult year for the dry whites, of the Graves, harvested after the drought and before the freshing rain of the 13th September. Some have still pulled out very good wines - a particular hit with us was Smith Haut Lafitte white and its second wines Hauts de Smith and Le Petit Haut Lafitte, but there were successes in the Médoc too, with Blanc de Lynch Bages and Arums de Lagrange hitting the spot for value.
