Saint Estèphe

'It was an easy vintage in Saint Estèphe' said Claire Villars-Lurton at Château Ferrière. She, of course, had seen the vintage in Pauillac (Haut Bages Libéral) and Margaux (La Gurgue and Ferrière) as well. It just did not rain as much here in the early part of the year. Humdingers from Crock, Calon & Montrose, but the whole commune is strong.
