Sauternes and Barsac

Botrytis was quite slow to come, but did arrive eventually, and there are some creditable wines here, but few that are really compelling. You can't help feel sorry for the Sauternais, whose wines are so desperately unloved in the current market, and these fabulous jewels go unnappreciated. Consider Climens, Suduiraut, Doisy Daene.
